RECORD NOT STREAM
I need help setting it up again. I had it for my last computer and i was fine but now its not the quality that it was. I have seen many video on the settings but nothing works for me any more. Its either the quality is so bad that I cant even look at it or the video is so choppy that it skips so many frames. People with worst computers record better then i do and i used their settings. I tried recording CS:GO while i was testing these settings.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Memory(Ram): 8.2 GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10240), 64-bit

and also should i be using OBS Studio or the older one
Thats up to you. almost everything looks fine. I would check your audio devices in windows playback and recording devices. check the audio format in the advanced tab (this is in windows audio devices not OBS)

OBS is set to 44100Hz, make sure this is the same as your audio devices. if audio devices are 48000Hz, then set OBS to that.
