Question / Help Need help fixing a microphone issue

So I just got a new computer set up. Since I stream, I also went ahead and got everything that I used to stream set up properly. I used all the settings that I had used no my previous computer (which I had no issues with).

So what ends up happening now, is the stream works basically issue-free for a couple hours, and then the microphone completely cuts out. OBS is the only program that I have had this issue with; skype and raidcall and audacity all work fine and I've never had my voice cut off in those.

The microphone is brand new, but I tried using my old mic and had the same exact issue. The microphone is still active, I can still check my recording devices and see my mic picking up what I say.

I'm thinking that maybe one of my settings isn't exactly the same as before, or something else along those lines. However, I've looked over the settings nearly 20 times by this point and I still don't see what could possibly causing the issue (Though I suppose I still might have missed something)

I've tried completely reinstalling (with deletion of all previous files from obs) and setting everything back up, but that the problem persisted.

The one thing I have not tested is if the mic still works on other programs after it cuts out during the stream. All I know in that scenario is that the mic does work on skype with the stream finished

Log (I had to cut out a majority of this log; the issues cut out was repeating "Audio timestamp for device 'Mic in at front panel (Pink) (Realtek High Definition Audio)' was behind target timestamp by xxx"

I trimmed that down to keep a lot of messages reading "Audio timestamp for device...." in order to be able to use pastebin. There were a few thousand messages at least saying that the audio timestamp was behind the target timestamp, so I'm assuming it might have something to do with those.

The actual log file was ~10,000 kb because of those messages, but only 22kb without them.

Glad you mentioned the timestamp error in your post because you cut out every mention of it completely in the log file.

- What if you uncheck "Use Mic QPC timestamps" under Settings > Advanced? The default is disabled and you've enabled it.

- What if you connect to the rear audio ports on your PC built into the motherboard, instead of the passthrough connections on the front of your case?

- What if you install/reinstall the latest Realtek drivers from
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...4&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#1 ?

Thanks for the response!

1) I've tried with User Mc QPC timestamps turned off before, I just had them turned on to help prevent microphone desynchronization. I ran into the same problem today with them turned off, so I don't believe its that.

2) I'm pretty sure I tried this before without it working, but I will double check this the next time I try to stream. If it works I will be completely bewildered on why, as the mic works for everything else, but I'll accept it :)

3) I'll reinstall the drivers as well, Thank you so much for the help!

I'll see if these fixes work, and if not then I suppose I will be back.
