Question / Help Need capture card

Hello!

I need something like a capture card, I think, in which I can connect two PC's so I can be able to switch between screens when streaming. The game I want to stream is called World of Tanks and the problem is that the game does not allow you to open two clients on the same PC.

What do I need to buy in order to be able to stream from two computers in one channel?

Thanks in advance for any answers...

So you have two PCs, with a copy of World of Tanks running on each one. And you want a way to stream both running copies of the game to a single channel? Yes, a capture card would probably be the easiest way to achieve this. The first PC would use a normal method like Game Capture to grab its copy of the game. The capture card would also be installed here, with the second PC sending a copy of its video card output to it. Something like http://www.avermedia-usa.com/avertv/Pro ... spx?Id=503 would probably work fine.

But I want a product that is top of the market, you can understand why. Have you tested this?

What do you mean? Do you have a good enough computer to even warrant it? Have you reviewed threads like this: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6757 and decided you still want a capture card?

Here's IMO the top of the market: http://www.datapath.co.uk/products/vide ... siondvi-dl
Cost: http://www.sabrepc.com/p-4182-datapath- ... -card.aspx A cool $1499.99

That's what you asked for, right?

If you didn't mean that high of a "top", at somewhat more reasonable levels there's this one: http://www.solarisjapan.com/sc-512n1-l- ... ture-board Cost: $350 plus shipping.

Below that the best one is probably the Avermedia Live Gamer HD: http://www.amazon.com/AVerMedia-C985-Ga ... B007UXJ6LE

And there's not any below that, that I would actually recommend for anyone looking for "top" capture cards.

I've personally used the Avermedia Live Gamer HD and I currently use a lower-end Datapath card I got cheap on ebay (otherwise I'd never be able to afford it).

And a final reiteration, your capture/encode PC needs to be pretty beefy to do all that and game all at the same time.
