Im new to forums and dont know how often people get on here. I have a question maybe someone can answer, that has been bugging me since i first seen it streamed..

I produce music, and i seen a guy streaming on Ustream from ps4. He was doing a live dj set and the sound was coming in HD. Like stereo. And he used a mic that had an in and off switch to talk to the viewers. I asked him how he did it but wouldnt say, he said he was the only one who was doing it on ps4.

How can i hook my beat machine or mixer to get stereo sound to my ps4 while i stream live on Ustream?

Thanks for any input

You use a USB Audio Soundcard (A little USB thingy with an audio out and a microphone in, usually quite cheap, 20 to 40$).

Your stereo out then needs to pass through something called an "attenuation cable". It's something that reduces the power of the signal. That then goes into the USB Mic.

You plug in the USB Sound Card in the PS4 which will recognize it as a headset.

The reason the signal needs to be reduced (=attenuated) is that microphone connectors are made to pick up and amplify the very faint signal a microphone usually produces. Some microphone INs can detect it when you connect a pre-amplified signal and turn off their amplification (effectively becoming a Line IN), but most of these simple USB Audio aren't that fancy :).

The hard part is finding an attenuation cable. Most people end up making their own. If you're handy with the soldering iron you can find plenty of tutorials online.

Hey guy's

I'm reviving this because I need help with it. I got everything to work but the party chat voices are all canny sounding and according to my friends I sound just as bad.

I have everything that was shown in the chart. Is there any specific way OBS should be setup?
How can I remove the canny noises and make it smooth?

Hey everyone - As the title says, I'm trying to get my setup to allow ALL audio to come through my stream. Anything I hear in my headset (game audio, game chat, party chat) as well as my own voice needs to come through.

I'm running my PS4 through an Elgato HD60 into a new PC build. As for mics, I'm using my Sony Gold Wireless Headset (which I still want to have all audio mentioned above coming through) and a Blue Yeti mic plugged into my computer.

I've used the following setup from Elgato's site (with all the correct cables), and it seems to work, but only in Elgato Game Capture HD software (after I check the "analog" option for audio). http://help.elgato.com/customer/por...at-audio-from-the-playstation-4-ps4-?b_id=360 My issue is that the second I try this setup in OBS, it's unsuccessful. My voice audio (through Blue Yeti) comes through fine, but I don't get any game audio or party chat audio at all.

Having audio come through the TV is not an option. Any help is appreciated.

---------

TL;DR: Need all game audio, party chat audio, and my own voice to come through stream while using OBS and still keeping game and party chat audio in headset.

When using a USB audio device on the PS4 you disable the hdmi audio output, the only real solution is an optical headset.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this, I currently use AverMedia lgp lite and I would like to also stream my ps4 with OBS. I have the following.

Official PS4 Wireless Headset
HyperX Cloud 2
Blue Snowball Mic

Ps4 is connected to TV through the avermedia.

Like others I cannot get the chat and game audio to stream, any help would be grateful. At this moment I am about to give up with streaming my PS4 and just stick to PC Streaming
