Question / Help My stream keeps lagging and buffering with a 10mbit upload connection

Hey guys .. next problem

i streamed for a week now on 3500 up

cbr enabled
cbr padding
cbr buffer

and suddenly today massive laggs and a lot of buffering .. not able to stream ....

it cant be my internet connection (uploadrate) because im testing all the time on speedtest. net and i get between 8 and 11mbits upload. .


is it possible twitch is struggeling somedays because a lot of streamers are online or sth like this?

i tried swichting servers too! no change!!!

Your upload may not be constant - try lowering it to 2500 and see if you still have a problem. I have a 12mb upload and it sometimes struggles to keep 2800 depending on how my ISP is.
During testing, I never dropped a frame at 3500 bitrate for around an hour, but lately I've only been okay up to 2800 - not that I'd go any higher anyway on a regular basis since I'm not partnered and viewers with potentially not the greatest internet would suffer.
