Hey guys!

I went through the stickies but I didn't really find any solution there.

I got reports from my viewers that my stream ( www.twitch.tv/forsakeNXE) is buffering sometimes mid stream.

I have 0 frames dropped and it is running fine for me. The VOD is excellent as well. I got the following report:

Specs:

My rig: AMD R 290 Tri-X OC, Intel Xeon 1245v3, 8 GB RAM, 120hz Samsung Magic S 23A700D , Steelseries Diablo 3 Mouse, Razer Blackwidow Keyboard, Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 250 Headphone.

Internet: 2,5mb up, 5mb down, cable no wifi, through a router.

OBS Settings:

VOD (totally fine): http://www.twitch.tv/forsakenxe/v/7157242

LOG (sorry was an insanely long stream today): https://gist.github.com/05c4a7615683888f249e

Any help is appreciated.

If that doesnt change anything, than you just have to live with it....You are below twitch recommended max bitrate (2000 bitrate) so nothing is wrong on your side... it's either twitch's fault or the viewers fault then.

Frankfurt gave me the same strange long handshake time for some reason. But for me its still the best server in the EU where i have the fastest connection too, so no idea what is going on with this stuff.

Weird thing I had was...every EU server gave me a handshake of over 500 ms except all the US West servers, like San Francisco and Los Angeles. I think this connection time seems to be quite important, because when I look through the logs of many people that have viewer buffering issues while being below the twitch recommended max bitrate for non partners, I see that they all have one thing in common, which is a bad connection to the ingest server.

Many ingests are currently having issues; very likely what is happening right now. Several are outright *down*, and transparently redirecting to other ingests, if a connection is successful at all.

I switched to the french server and the problem still persists. :(

Edit: Log analysis says:
Bad resolution / FPS / bitrate combination

The combination of settings you are using will likely lead to a low quality stream with artifacting and other problems. Consider either raising your bitrate or lowering your resolution / FPS (qval: 0.008)
