Question / Help My recording is lagging! Please help!

My recording is lagging like crazy. Normaly it's going pretty good but I just cannot seem to get the recording smooth.
I f someone can help me that would be great!

Experiment with the resolution downscale values and see if you can find one that works well without looking too bad.

Refer to the link I provided above for the best local recording settings (in terms of how to configure the bitrate and manage quality). You'll need to downscale much further it seems, you're still losing nearly a quarter of your frames.

You're still duplicating almost 9% of your frames on UltraFast. Not a good sign. It won't seem smooth until your duplicated frames are below 1%. Not sure that will be possible on your system, but at least we can take drastic action to find out:

Turn CFR on, i.e. Yes. Having it off just disguises problems.
Use the 3.0 downscale multiple.
Lower your FPS to 20.
Increase your bitrate and buffer to 10,000 or so, at least for testing purposes.

If the duplicated frames are then less than 1%, you can think about decreasing the downscale and retesting. If not, then reduce your FPS further.
