Question / Help My recorded videos are coming out as high pitched audio files!

So whenever I record a video on obs I always get a very high pitched audio file but it's just loud sounds that kills your ears. These are my settings. http://imgur.com/a/7OWWw. When I watch the video everything is fine and it's in mp4 format. When i put it into vegas there is no video and just audio but not the audio from the video. When i compress the file using handbreak and then put it in vegas still as an mp4 file the video and audio shows with loss of quality.

And are you saving directly as mp4 or as flv then transcoding?

Actually, does the problem persist when you use the x264 encoder instead of nvenc?

Let me try swapping over and seeing if it makes a difference

The problem still occurs when using either x264 or nvenc.

I've tried saving my file both as mp4 and flv. When I save as flv however the file simply does not get recognised by vegas.

I've just tried this. The problem is still there when it's in vegas.

Do the files play in VLC properly?

Yes

Then the problem is in vegas and not OBS.
