Question / Help My OBS Won't Record!

So i press start recording right? so i do a video i talk i play the game and done. I Open the video and it is minecraft on esc for two seconds and done...and when i record my minecraft is frozen on obs but im playing it and its not like on the obs screen it is stuck on esc when on the minecraft application on pc windows 8 i am playing. Audio works but it plays the video for 2 secs then done how do i fix this and guys tell me what specs i should use for good recording and no blackboxes, here is a video of my specs oh i forgot? i cant record videos at all? they are just stuck on one frame? oooohhhh okay....pls fix this or kill me. Oh and btw im new i thought dis was good i am determent and i hope i dont have a bad time ok

I just watched the video and to be honest, it looks like you're using a very old version (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Try this https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio/releases/tag/0.13.4
It's the latest release (As of 10:03 PM PST 3/22/2016)
Use the Estimator to suggest settings for OBS and then play around with them for a bit.
Finally, if you have a bad experience with OBS, it's more than likely going to be of your own accord. Myself and others have been using OBS for years and it's worked fine. If there's a problem, a simple google search will typically remedy the issue.

OBS Studio is a complete re-work from the ground up... You're using OBS Classic, which is fine. Looks like you're doing monitor capture for your minecraft source. Use Game Capture instead.
