My video driver/graphics card is intel iris 5100.

I get an error message saying to check log and make sure my video driver is up to date.

i am running the latest driver, no improvement.

Any insights?

1. Using Windows Update, update Windows 10 to 2004 or 20H2/09 if available.
2. Your audio devices have a sample rate that doesn't match the OBS Sample Rate. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Headphones (HUAWEI CM510 Stereo): 44100 Hz
Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio): 44100 Hz
3. To ensure that OBS Studio has the hardware resources it needs for realtime streaming and recording, we recommend disabling the "Game DVR Background Recording" feature via these instructions.
4. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
5. 19:52:24.282: target_bitrate: 0
You need to define a bitrate or use QCP/CRF (whatever Intel calls it).

According to the log, it seems you set the bitrate to 0. Set it to something sane, between 2500 and 6000.
