Question / Help My computer shut itself off, now my recording is broken. Can I fix it?

Hello,

like my title said: My computer shut itself off in the middle of a recording session, now I have a 7 gig file that's practicly unusable. I've tried some googling around and some tools that apparently fix the *.mp4, but none of them even recognize it as a video file. :(

Is there something I can do to rescue it? I kinda need it badly.

Hmm unfortunately outside tools are the only option. Its actually the main reason why we always recommend to record in flv format and simply later remux the file to mp4 (no quality loss and pretty fast).
