Question / Help My camera only shows up red

I added my integrated camera as a global source and just the normal way but my camera is only showing up as a red box. How can I fix this?

Try to Change the Resolution of the Camera.

I tried using a custom set up. It still lags for about 30 seconds after I start the stream and the box shows up red.

Also, with you having added it as a global source, remove all non-global instances of the camera and only add the global source to scenes.

A red source on a video capture device means that the driver isn't working with DirectShow. Did you install the driver for the cam, or just plug-and-play with the default Windows driver? If so, see if there's a standalone manufacturer's driver available. Many cams do not work properly with OBS, using the default one.
