Question / Help Mute Hauppauge audio but still stream it

So I have searching for awhile now for this and can't find it or think of how to do it. I want to stream my Hauppauge audio for me game but I don't want to hear the sound from the hauppauge application because of the delay. Is there a way around this at all?

Anbu, I don't have a Hauppauge but my AverMedia shows this in the properties. See highlighted. To get there just right-click on the Hauppauge under Sources and choose Properties.

Unfortunately this won't work since you can't use the Hauppuage as a direct source like your AverMedia. I have to use screen capture.

Then you may be in the same boat as I'm in. When you adjust the OBS volume slider in Volume Mixer does this affect the volume your stream viwers hear? See my post on it here.

I didn't even think of trying that. I am going to have to give that a shot.
