Question / Help Multiple Video Capture cards of same name not working

To add more context, even if I exit OBS, turn off the Canon, restart OBS, the Sony still shows no signal so I don't think this is a bandwidth problem as there's nothing coming from the Canon port.

Another interesting thing is if I switch to the usb video source for the Canon, I get a black screen which is decidedly different than the grey screen I see for the canon.

As others have reported, both cameras work fine in Zoom. I can switch back-and-forth between them with no issue.

Same problem.
Using 2 nearly identical devices to capture 2 different sources.
The only way to make it work is to setup each device under different scene COLLECTION.
But then i loose the ability to transition between the sources and it complicates the process because i am forced to duplicated sources across every scene selection in order to make it work the way i need.

These capture cards identified as Camera under device manager in Windows.
No brand name, no nothing under driver properties, just says driver provided by Microsoft.
I wonder if i was able to find different driver for one of the capture devices, maybe it would work since two run by different drivers but manufactorer is unknown.

This really sucks.
