Bug Report Multiple of the same AVerMedia boxes causes only second to work

I have multiple AVerMedia ExtremeCap U3 boxes and OBS has issues differentiating between them causing crashes and instances where only one of the Video Capture Sources in OBS actually shows what's on either card and the other shows a clear box. The second box does show up as AVerMedia ExtremeCap U3 (2), but it only allows the second Video Capture Source to display video, not both.

I've contacted AVerMedia about naming the boxes with numbers when you have more than one in the drivers, but my assumption is they'll probably claim this as a limited use case and not change it. Honestly, it could be something completely different like some strange driver restriction; who knows.

Is it possible OBS and OBS Studio can be modified to account for instances where there are multiple of the same unit named exactly the same via the drivers? Or better yet, is there some log I can upload which might explain what's really happening here?

Found out more info. These boxes work together just fine. I ordered a couple more and will have more data to work with soon for displaying 4-5 boxes at the same time in OBS to see what the real issue is.

From what I'm seeing, it appears to be one of my devices (StarTech.com USB3HDCAP aka CY3014) runs at 59.94fps interlaced and that's causing a number of the issues I've seen with this 60/59.94 issue. I believe others streaming w/ 720p boxes have experienced the same issues as well.
