Question / Help Multiple Audio Channels - PreSonus Studio 192

Hello community,
I try to add single channels to OBS (up to 8 speakers and/or 3 singers + 5 instruments), but as I recognized, OBS just supports channel one and channel two as stereo mix. PreSonus Studio 192 is a multi-in and multi-out audio mixer shown on Mac as Audio Interface and also a powerful pre-amp-device. Most of other software recognizes it as one device with up to 32 channels.

Is there any way to bring channel by channel into OBS (similar to BlackMagic-Decklink-Support)? I could mix all channels which are necessary, and this scene by scene. for e.g. a talk about music (scene 1-8 with audio-channels 1-4) music live performance (scene 9-16, with audio-channels 5 to 8)

Other production-software (like mimoLive) uses an Audio-Plugin (with the options: which device, which channel(s)):

There I can select 'channel one' and 'channel one' for Speaker one (when channels are selected the same, then it is mono). When I add another one, I can say 'Channel 5' and 'Channel 6' (both for Piano, a mic at the left side and a mic at the right side), thats why a stereo-selection).

Do you have any ideas how I can add a setup like this in OBS?

THX,
JoPhi

Ps: I also miss a real SDI-Output for Blackmagic Design-Equipment.

1) decklink output has been done and should be merged at next release or a following one.
2) i didn't get your issue; is it that the presonus is not recognized with all its 32 channels ? there is a limit of 8 ch on obs. Any device with more than that is downmixed to stereo. My fork can go up to 16 channels. https://github.com/pkviet/obs-studio (i did the dev work on surround sound which was merged into official release). There are binaries for mac which you can test. Be aware that the installer seems to have issues if your mac is not 6 or 7th gen intel cpu.
3) if you want to do channel manipulations (duplicate channels, swap, change their orders) you can try the rematrix filter https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/rematrix-filter-plugin.620/
But the latest release with the more complete feature set does not have mac binaries ==> bootcamp + windows ?
4) instead of loopback, a more powerful solution but more difficult to setup is Jack : https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/advanced-audio-capture-mac-os-x.22420/

@pkv thx so much for your reply.
1) #yeah! 2) I'll have a look on it. I want to bring channel by channel into a scene. AudioPlugin can only bring the amount of all channels into the scene. 3) amazing! ... Boot Camp installation of Win10 failed, but I'm trouble shooting 4) found jack yesterday and I'm still finding out how it works :) ... Thx also for this link.

on windows, with asio plugin that i developped it would be easy to pull (not released yet, polishing it atm). One can create several asio sources for same device with full channel control. So you would create say , 16 asio sources each with the channels you need.
I don't remember enough on jack to know if you can do that easily on mac. Might be the case.
