Hi. pretty old post but let's try

I'm working with USB2.0 PC CAMERA and I'm trying to get it work on a usb 3.0 powered hub. If I use all my different netbook ports it works but with the hub it doesn't... I tried to change all names and I can get them different in obs but I still can't play all together...

So you just changed the "friendly name" and it worked?
Did Anyone do any step further? I'm just googleing for 3 days with no luck. There is only one hope in that last comment.
Help please.

Using usb hubs with webcams is a recipe for disaster due to usb bandwidth limits and usb routing issues.
