Question / Help .mp4 video is not 60FPS in Sony Vegas

Howdy. I started using OBS a couple of days ago and I was pretty satisfied with the results except there was an issue.
If I enable the custom x264 encoder settings and set the crf value to whatever number from 10-20 (my CPU can handle it), then drag the video into Vegas, the preview/rendered video will be at 30FPS.
If I disable those settings and use just the quality balance & max bitrate, the video will show just fine. So tell me what I'm doing wrong because when it comes to codecs and all that stuff I'm lost.
I get better quality with the custom crf value than with the bitrate option (no matter the value) and that's what I seek.
These are my settings and no, I'm not trying to steam.

The bitrate may seem high, but it shouldn't matter since I enabled the custom x264 encoder settings.

paste the link to your logfile with and without the CRF, restart between tests. make sure that the game you are capturing is active and in full use for 5 minutes or more then post each logfile like this:

with buffer 0, bitrate line is ignored as stated in the log. without specifying crf, it defaults to crf=23.

if your program is saying bitrate is to high then you'll need to use a slower preset. Maybe superfast. as you drop the crf number the bitrate will increase as well so if that is your problem, you could leave it as is then use handbrake to encode your video before you run it through your program to edit. this method will take time but not affect your live recording as much.

Mhmm, Handbrake fixed the FPS issue. I'll play with the settings for a while, the audio is kinda' distorted after encoding. Thanks a lot!
