Question / Help Mouse issues when recording

I've recently decided to start using obs to record my league of legends in game and have been having issues. At random points my mouse will lock to its current position on screen for a few seconds and I cannot move it all but then after a few seconds it will just go back to normal and this will happen at completely random intervals. I've seen a few posts in various places similar to this but nothing quite the same or if it was similar enough the solution did not work. I have it set to game capture and the only other capture set up is for song title and artist using SMG. I have other things like chrome and spotify running in the background but they do not cause a problem when obs is not running so i have ruled them out. Also obs is on my second monitor while the game itself is my primary monitor, I can still move between monitors like normal it is just a mouse issue every now and then.
