Question / Help Mouse Freeze Up

Everytime I test out trying to stream, my mouse freezes up every few moments, I know it's not because of a dirty mouse pad or lens or whatever because I have replicated the problem enough times to know it's happens after I "Start Streaming"/"Preview Streaming"


I have uploaded my DXDIAG, I'm sure someone will ask for it eventually.

I should also mention that it's not only the mosue that freezes up, I think its the computer as a whole. When I'm typing and one of these "spikes" hit, I continue typing the last letter i hit, like thisssssssssssssssssssssss until the "spike" passes.

Does the problem persist when you use x264 as your encoder?

OBS is an open source project with people spending their free time to help others. If you need immediate assistance, please next time use the chat room instead of bumping your threads. Bumping wont get you an answer.

Hmm, apart of slightly strange nvenc settings the logs look fine. No duplicated or late frames that are worth mentioning.
From your description I would think you reach an I/O limit of your system, or maybe an USB limit which might lead to the mentioned freezes.
I can pretty much only recommend to make sure all your drivers are up to date. And since you are on win10, you could give OBS-MP a try, see if it also has the freeze problems.
