Question / Help Mouse Flickering Issues

Hello Everyone,

I use OBS to record hearthstone footage for youtube, however no matter what I do the mouse won't stop flickering. Here is a link to an example in one of my videos http://youtu.be/6RZ-MRo29Sw?t=4m5s. I use game capture and record at 1920*1080. Is there any way to stop the flickering please help, as I want to provide high quality videos.

Can I get some help please? Any reason why people are completely ignoring my post?

Have you checked your OBS / scene settings to make sure it is set up to show your cursor in the screen region you're capturing (which would be the game in this situation)? It might be conflicting between the OBS settings wanting to hide the cursor for that window, but the game giving you a custom cursor, which overlaps it.

In a similar fashion, some screen region which OBS is set up to hide your cursor from might be right under the game you're trying to capture (seeing how Aero is on), and it could be conflicting with the game attempting to show your cursor.

All I can suggest is to avoid overlapping screen regions if it's happening, and make sure your screen regions in OBS are set to show your mouse cursor.

Ok when I minimize everything except the game, the cursor flickers A LOT less but it still happens any other idea how I can fix this annoying issue? Game capture has display cursor enabled is there anywhere else I need to enable this setting? Remember I only use game capture.

What about this part? Have you tried both?

Otherwise I'm out of ideas.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it but my problem has not been solved yet unfortunately I have followed all of your advice and the mouse still flickers. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Don't bump your post so much. If you need immediate help, come to the chat room.

Can you post a log from the streaming session in your YouTube video? The log you posted was only a very short recording a few seconds long.

To be honest, I don't know. It doesn't happen with other people who use game capture on Hearthstone, and nothing in your log is indicative of a problem happening. I'm not sure what to say. I suppose you can run the game in Windowed mode and use Window capture instead.
