Hello guys,

I want to improve picture quality on my stream.

Using NVENC i have a chance to stream 60 fps without any drops.

Much more bitrate improve quality? How can i do that.

I tryied to set 3k, but i have red square near bitrate while streaming. On 2k all's ok.
I want 3-3.5k - it's possible on my pc configuration ?

Your bitrate ain't about what pc you got, just how much upload you can give, twitch has limit of 3.5k.

If you want to stream fast pace game (Like Cs:Go), Nvenc and quicksync ain't good for it. You need much more bitrate to improve the quality. The best is to go with x264 then.

Also, what resolution you play on also has a impact.

For NVENC I would recommend High Quality or Bluray Disk. x264 will look better granted but for streaming with that cpu, unless you are doing older games that don't use less than 50% you will have issues. The quality of NVENC really depends on the game, I rarely notice it on a BF4 stream for example but if i'm watching smite then you can tell because the ground get a little blocky when the camera pans.

I want to stream on Cybergame.tv (Mscow server). Speedtest says me something about 60mbps download and upload.

Games which i like to stream is: League of Legeneds, Dark Souls 2

Resolution: 1600x900 in window mode all games.

So please, can someone say me something about best stream settings for my pc config ? I'll be happy to read it. :)

AMD A8-6600K @4.3GHz
8GB Ram
Zotac GTX750 1GB DDR5, 128bit

make sure you use low latency high quality preset on nvenc for best quality output also change your ignest servers and see if you keep dropping frames with a 3k bitrate

mostly your cpu should be able to handle a normal 1280x720 stream @ 30 fps on its own so you wouldnt even need nvenc

With that setup I would try what alpinlol said or running x264 at the fast or faster cpu preset. Also make sure CFR is on.

what not on earth dont even get close those presets with that weak cpu...

stay on nvenc and use the low latency high quality settings and stream 720p30 and dont really go over 3k bitrate also make sure that you try different ingest sever as i already said since some of them can have some problems from time to time

Yes he can, his CPU is very close to mine(FX 6300) which can do faster fine and in some cases medium. nvenc will work better for people with better GPUs and SLI setups. Also you can go over 3k bitrate but twitch won't send it to anyone so there is no point.

Hey guys (
For now I have newer videocard - gtx 760, but...

Is it a possible way to encode w/ x264 instead of nvenc for now ? Want to stream csgo, but w/ nvenc fps games looks badly.

with nvenc I set 2k bitrate, 96 audio, 45fps, 1280x720 (game is, in obs no downscaling), nvenc preset - hq

what settings can i try with x264?

APU's are notoriously weak for encoding.

Do the same settings with x264 but use SuperFast preset, then post a log file. You'll probably have to adjust it more based on what we see in the logs. Make sure your log file is of a stream of at least 5 minutes of high action gameplay.
