Question / Help Monitor capture lag, but mouse is fine.

This may sound odd, but when I preview my stream using monitor capture, the screen takes ages to load up (including the many smaller screens that load) and once it has loaded, there is a delay on everything I do but the mouse moves around without any lag or delay at all.

I've been setting things up with OBS for a while now and I have never encountered this problem, this is the first time.

Anyone have some advice on how to fix this?

Here's a log file if that helps: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/38146699decd482bf053

Are those two Nvidia cards SLI'd or something? OBS doesn't work well with SLI and monitor capture is sometimes iffy. I could imaging that both those things are complicating things.

Code:
total frames duplicated: 2628 (33.95%)

From what I can see, I only have one Nvidia card and that is the GeForce GT 740M.

There was a new driver update earlier today which I done, could that have anything to do with this? I've never had this problem before.

Since nothing has really changed with OBS, that could be the factor that changed.

you could always attempt to do a clean uninstall, which is recommended for those having issues.

there is a video card driver uninstall utility that will work for AMD and Nvidia called DDU. do a full reboot into safemode uninstall then manually update the drivers. if that doesn't fix it, then you might have to revert back to the old drivers.

Thanks for the advice. I've rolled back the driver and its fixed!

I guess there's some sort of bug/problem in the new driver or something!!

Thanks again :)
