Question / Help Monitor Capture = Half the Framerate

When I'm using the monitor capture option to capture an entire 1920x1080 display, the rendering frame rate is cut in half. For example, if I try to capture my secondary 1920x1080 display, FRAPS will show OBS' framerate as 14-15FPS. As soon as I uncheck the monitor capture checkbox, it jumps up to 30. It's essentially cutting the frame rate of whatever monitor of the two that I decided to show. If I show monitor 2, whatever I'm looking at will slow down. If I switch to monitor 1, monitor 2 will operate at normal speed while whatever I'm showing on monitor 1 will slow down.

My hardware config is in my signature.

I get the same performance with both QS and x264.

Here are my settings:

Monitor capture is awful and should not be used. If you must use it, disable Aero to limit the performance impact.

So the odd/poor performance with monitor capture was to be expected? I guess I'll stick with window capture for now.

So I just noticed that the frame rate decrease only occurs when choosing "monitor 2" compared to monitor 1.

One thing to note is that my primary video adapter is my 7950, while the second monitor is using my 2600K's IGPU (HD 3000). If I switch video adapters in OBS, my monitor capture for monitor 2 is captured at full speed automatically as monitor 1. However, if switching "monitor capture" to monitor 2, it still picks up my second display, while the frame rate is cut in half :/.
