For some reason, whenever I try to use monitor capture for full screen gaming, it doesn't seem to work, just as if it's nothing but blackness or just as if the screen froze (in the preview/stream) but works with my desktop just fine. I have Aero disabled and I'm NOT on a laptop. My main reason for this is to Stream my games with the ability to use FXAA and SMAA which would be a post processing effect that takes place on the screen and not through the game (I force it through the NVidia control panel rather than use ingame). I would use game capture but that doesn't support those forms of AA so I'm either stuck with a windowed mode of some sort, or game capture with no/ingame aa which I don't prefer to use. This used to work for me too up until a week ago. But back to the matter, how can I make full screen games work in monitor capture or is this just a bug with this build of obs?

It isn't a new thing with this build. That it worked for you in the past is fine, but it isn't designed to do so.

If you're using some sort of injector to add AA, then it might conflict with game capture's hook. In that case, you will have to either play the game in Windowed (or Borderless) mode and capture with Window capture, or, use a capture card.

Bump after, a year. Lol MY question now is, for GAME Capture, If I use FXAA in the Nvidia Control Panel for games that support no real AA at all, will those smoothed out edges be captured in OBS as well or no?
