Question / Help Mobizen black screen in OBS

Hey guys, wondering if anyone had an answer to my problem.

I'm trying to mirror my android tablet to my laptop so I can setup a proper stream. The only software I can find that does this flawlessly is Mobizen. The issue is that OBS recognizes it in the drop down box, but once I add the scene and preview OBS goes blank. No video, no audio.

Is there a plugin for OBS or an update I should know about. This is the last issue I have in order to set up a great looking stream! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Hi there, sorry for the delay of the answer that you were looking for.

I'm using an Android Tablet too. Maybe you have a black screen because you didn't tick the option of "Capture Layered Windows" after you do that, you cant place anything in front of the Mobizen, or people will see it too.

I'm streaming Clash of Clans, but Mobizen and OBS doesn't look so compatible. I mean, the quality of the mirroring on Mobizen, doesn't look so bad, but when you Capture the Mobizen, the quality get really mess and there is nothing to increase it.

Wondershare MobileGo will display your android device on your pc, then you can do monitor capture to stream/record it.

I downloaded the MobileGo and looks pretty good, but I have to pay for the mirroring monthly. It has the same quality problems when I capture the screen with OBS.

For now, I will stay with Mobizen because both has the same problem and Mobizen it's free of charge.

EDIT: I think Android is not prepared to fight iOS mirroring yet
