Question / Help Minor freezes when recording with my capture card?

Hello!

I currently have an Elgato HD60 S and everytime I record a clip, the outcome always has 1 tiny freeze frame moment. I'm not sure if it's OBS itself or the capture card. Anyone know why and how to fix it? My capture card and OBS worked perfectly last week so I don't understand why it's doing it.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, when you see the gameplay on OBS, it looks normal except when you view the video, there are some lag spikes/freezes.

Thanks!

Do you have two capture cards connected?

Hey, thanks for responding and nope, I've only got one capture card connected to my laptop except I did used to have an Elgato Game Capture HD which I did try using on my laptop last year in July realising my laptop doesn't support 2.0 usbs which is why I upgraded. Could the previous capture card which I stopped using in August affect the one I'm currently using?

I ask because you've got two sources that seemed like they might be the same device with different settings:

20:10:00.299: - source: 'elgatoo' (dshow_input)
20:10:00.299: - scene 'YT':
20:10:00.299: - source: 'elgato' (dshow_input)

Trying to use the same device with different settings can cause issues. If that's actually just a device you used to have there's no harm in deleting it.

I've removed one of them I think I found the cause of my issue and I believe it's due to my anti virus, thanks for helping me out!
