Question / Help minecraft gameplay

hi, when I start recording, the main screen for minecraft is being recorded but when I start up the game play and open a world it wont play any of it and stays showing the main screen even when im playing. ive seen that im not the only one with this problem and was wondering what I could do to fix it. hope someone has an answer! by the way I tested it and when I exit the world and go back to the main screen the recording goes from 1 second to the time its really been recording, almost like it is unable to record minecraft gameplay. please help :)

Fullscreen changes things :( I notice it with my HDPVR. I dont know the technical term, but i think it changes the "hook"?

The only way to capture it fullscreen would be to use DXTORY and then use the DXTORY data to bring it back to OBS.

I just noticed that when it plays, it says warning taking too long to encode, skipping. that's what the problem is
