Bug Report Microphone Stops Randomly

Like it says up there, the mic will randomly stop when broadcasting and when it usually shows the red bar moving when you talk, it doesn't show that, its just blank. I included the 2 logs when it happened. Please fix, until then ill download an older version :)

I can confirm this. My mic went out multiple times during my stream tonight. My PC continued to recognize the device, and I could see in the Recording Devices menu that the microphone was indeed working and picking up my voice. I was able to fix it by restarting my stream, but I feel like that was a poor fix since it would just go down some time soon afterwards. It fixed itself automatically once, but I don't know how it happened..

Actually this isn't related to versions -- this has been a problem for a long time, if the mic is unplugged then there's an issue where it can't "reconnect" it after it's been plugged in again. A really long-standing issue that we've unfortunately keep putting off unintentionally.

It needs to be fixed though so I'm going to see what I can do about upping the priority on this and getting it fixed (hopefully by the next version if possible)

Has this been sorted yet? I'd prefer to use OBS, however I've had to resort to using XSplit as this issue ruins mine and my viewers streaming experience.

You might also want to check your scene buffering time in Advanced settings...make sure it's set to 700 or higher.
