I've been noticing this on my stream a bit, since I use multiple PTT (3, found a bug that allows me to use 3 PTT even though it only displays 2. This is useful TBH so don't fix this...) for my games. One to talk in-game, and one to talk to stream. However, I noticed lately that in some of my videos (Where I have to quickly switch who I'm talking to, fast paced game) my voice gets cut off even though I'm still talking in-game. A good example would be going to this video: http://www.twitch.tv/ball3hi/b/493335254 @ 9:40
You'll notice I'm talking to my stream, and then I quickly switch to talking in-game to make an announcement to my team. My voice gets cut-off, but my in-game notification that I'm talking is still there meaning my voice isn't being captured.
You can replicate this easily. Make two PTT buttons (I use Q, and C). Click Preview, then hold down Q to talk. Watch the voice meter on OBS move as you talk, now hold down C along with Q. Keep talking, and let go of Q. You'll notice that, even though you're still holding C, OBS is no longer capturing your voice.
