Question / Help Microphone Requires Reset Every Stream

Hey all,

So everytime I start my stream my microphone is automatically disabled in the OBS settings and I have to unplug/plugin the microphone and go into the OBS settings to select my Blue Yeti as my microphone to get it to work. I also have to restart the stream before I do this. So as you can imagine this is very frustrating and I would love to get it fixed! Any tips are greatly appreciated :)

Do you think that you could perhaps try the latest test build with it? There are a number of new features related to mics and disconnections with mics that should prevent that from occurring. Even a button that allows you to fully reset the mic mid-stream in case something happens and it doesn't seem to want to recover.

Hello, I'm having this problem as well using 0.624b. Every so often it'll reset so the microphone is disabled, and I can't find a rhyme or reason for it. This morning I recorded a podcast and only realized after that my mic -- which is the default mic I always use as well as the default microphone in windows 7 -- was set to disabled in OBS. I didn't tell it to do this and the mic was plugged in when I started OBS, so it's frustrating to run into this problem.

Might there be anything I can do to fix it so the microphone is always selected in the future?
