Got some really weird audio problems going on on my side. Don't know what is causing them but when I am playing games I keep getting an odd popping/static/feedback noise when I am talking over the mic. It doesnt seem to be coming from any other sounds so it isnt a general audio problem but something to do with the mic. Now, the mic doesnt present any problems to my friends when I am talking to them over Voice chat programs like Skype, but only when I stream.
I have also tested it with my Elgato because I did Mario Maker with it to figure stuff out on my end but it was the same there.

You can go through those and you will pick up on the noise no problem. Certain videos didnt have it but 95% of them have it.
I dont have any other capture programs open.
My Microphone is plugged in through the Optical port in the back because I am using the Astro A50s and the mixamp plugs in directly through Optical.
My computer lists it as being plugged in as USB but I can 100% say that it is right through Optical.

Still havent been able to figure out what the problem is on my side. I tweaked some settings with Scene Buffering and lowered it from 700 to 300 and that had some effects but it also made my mic cut off.

I am close to buying a brand new Standalone mic with a popfilter as well so that I dont have to use my headset mic. It's a steep choice but its one I planned on doing a while back.

The reply from live chat turned out to do nothing for me in the end really.
All the audio issues are still there so now I am back to looking for a fix. I am also hoping that fix isnt a $60 usb microphone.
