Question / Help Microphone not included in recording

Hi! I've been trying to use OBS for some time now for Youtube purposes, but my microphone audio is not recorded. Before I start recording any type of video, I always check that my microphone is recorded, but unfortunately, it's not. When I talk into my microphone, the bar that indicates audio volume is jumping up and down, but when I look into my recording later, I find out that my voice did not get recorded. Why? I'm not that much of a tech expert, so I don't really know what to look for... Help?

It's possible you have push-to-talk active. If the mic audio meter levels are going up and down with your voice then it should be working otherwise.
