Bug Report Microphone Issue

I just updated Open Broadcaster Software and now it is saying that it cannot verify my microphone settings. I haven't changed anything and I've even moved some settings around and still won't pick up my line in microphone.

Could not verify your microphone settings? Could you post a log file or say what the error says exactly?

It reads,

Error

An error occurred initializing microphone audio - it may not be not plugged in, or another application could be using it in exclusive mode.

I've never received this error before, nor do I have any other program accessing my microphone. Here is my setup.

Audio - Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)

My other options for audio are - Disable, Default, Linein (Realtek High Definition Audio)

Krazy

Try this:
Right click speaker icon in system tray in the lower right hand corner
Select Playback Devices
Click on your microphone
Select Properties
Go to the Advaced tab
Untick both check boxes

Just did that. It's not a problem with OBS now, it's a problem with my computer. It's recognizing my webcam as the primary source of a microphone instead of my line-in. I rectified the issue. Thank you for your help!

How were you able to fix that? Even though I have every other mic option disabled in my sound manager and the exclusive controller icons are unchecked, I still get the error
