Question / Help Microphone isn't working

Which device are you selecting? It still doesn't seem to be showing up in the log file. Try restarting OBS, previewing for 30 seconds or so, then choosing the "Upload Current Log File" option and link that.
 
Under Settings > Audio what do you have selected for the Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device? Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) is a Desktop Audio Device. You shouldn't be able to select it as a mic.
 
That sounds like you don't have any available recording devices to choose from. Is your mic connected to the Realtek onboard hardware on your PC the same way your headset/speakers are? Make sure it's in the right spot or it won't be listed. Is it working in other programs? Does it show up under the Recording tab when you open Control Panel > Sound?
 
Open OBS, hop into Settings>Hotkeys, then turn off 'Push-To-Talk'. (If you have it ON.) That should do the trick, it fixed mine so it might fix yours. ;)
