Hey everyone.. Here is the problem:
I'm streaming with OBS Studio x64 and I have an edirol ua-4fx USB audio interface..
At any moment .. OBS will no longer show the audio being monitored on the mic channel under the "Mixer" section of OBS.. and it will no longer be shooting that mic's audio to the stream... It just cuts out ... Although the monitor on my Edirol USB Interface shows the mic is still picking up sound...
When I open Control Panel > Sounds > Recording .. It shows does not show that microphone (UA4-FX) monitoring audio properly... I can disable/re-enable it .. and the audio monitoring shows back up properly.. (this does not fix it in OBS) ..
The only way to fix it in OBS is to completely reload an entire new scene set... (Which may or may not be proper for that particular stream).. This also may or may not break my Webcam output for whatever reason..
Are there any fixes to be done here?
My PC is running with like 24GB Ram , 4.0ghz processor , GTX 970 graphics .. The audio interface is utilizing an XLR Mic with phantom power...
Audio recording + sound output is both sampling at 44.1 in the OBS and windows sound settings.. so they match up..
This wasnt happening to me a few patches ago.. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
I've attached my latest log file but I doubt it shows anything but me switching scenes a lot..
I've not done any streaming/recording but I've seen this thing kicking my mic off whilst the program is idling but more importantly it was doing this when using OBS as a virtual camera for some google hangouts the other day. Either way its cutting out while idling or in-use... Could it be some game I have open? Or some video editing software that may be messing with it? Skype? What do you think?
Thanks!
