Question / Help Microphone disables itself?

Hello there everybody, OBS team - And other aware people. I hope i can get some kind of help, since i have been calling the store where i bought the microphone. And they sadly could not help me with this issue, as it is only occuring in OBS. (Streaming).

I have a condenser microphone of the brand "Scarlett" - The model is Scarlett Studio CM 25 - And a Focusrite 2i2 External soundcard.

When i stream, it works fantastic...... About 5 minutes, then it disables itself. And i have to either pull my USB plug out, or select my headset microphone (which i don't like).

I have been reading forums thin, and i really mean. Absolutely thin + Called the Scarlett support line. And my settings should be correct. Also, the microphone only disables itself in OBS - It works without any problems on Skype / Other games etc. With no flaws.

My settings for my Audio "should" be correct. But please do correct me if i am wrong, since it's pretty new with a studio mic.

My headset (receiving sound is my SteelSeries Elite Prism)
My Mic the Scarlett 2i2 (Microphone)

Audio Tab in OBS - http://prntscr.com/68ditp <- Screenshot attatched.
Audio Settings Windows - http://prntscr.com/68djj1 - http://prntscr.com/68djms .

As i do not crash, my "crashlog" won't show anything special. OBS is a fantastic program, and i have been loving it since day one. But i sure am getting very sad, when i have this great microphone i can't use for sh*t :p because it disables it.

Hoping for the best help in the world.

- Kindest regards

During a stream, if the studio microphone disables itself. If i disable and enable it again through the windows vol mixer, it works again. Roughly 2 minutes.
But that isnt a solid solution at all. Since it only disables itself while streaming with obs.

- Any ideas? There must be some people out there with expertise?

I'm actually having the same issues as you but with a different mic, I use a 2i2 and it rocks with anything except when I use it for streaming, the entire audio line gets disconnected until I replug it back, hell I even bought another interface (Focusrite Forte) and yet this issue still happens , which led me to believe about what others have been saying were true...

That the audio interface by itself has a great audio quality but the drivers that comes from Focusrite are terrible and unstable , people complained about it.

This is why I'm going to buy an RME babyface and hopefully putting an end to this issue

Remove any non-essential USB devices like webcams, printers, etc and try it. Your USB bandwidth is likely overloaded by too many devices.

Did this fix the issue? I am currently struggling a lot with my stream and my audio disabling itself. My Focusrite 6i6 works perfectly in other programs and digital audio workstations.

My stream doesn't crash. When the audio cuts out - all I need to do is simply reinitialize the audio and it comes back, but it's awkward to do this 1-6 times every hour live. :(

My stream is suffering a lot and I need a fix.
