Question / Help Microphone crash during local recording

Hello, I have only just now started to have this issue and only after having updated OBS. I have been able to record a full LP (10 eps) series of 20-30 min videos (though this might have just been me being extremely lucky).

My problem: At random intervals during (seemingly random anyway) My microphone audio simply stops being picked up by OBS. Unfortunately I cannot find the log file for my first attempt to do a 50min LP. About 2 mins into the video my audio from the microphone cut out completely, I however didn't notice the lack of readings via the I/O meter displayed on OBS and continued to record for 48mins, the sound never returned.

The file is of me trying to troubleshoot the error by changing my settings slightly and waiting for the audio to fail. Note: I would not normally record this particular game at 1080p 60fps but I wanted to see if it failed faster the higher I made the quality, though this was inconclusive.

I do have more example files of the error occurring if required, and I surely can obtain more given enough time >.< I have been trying to troubleshoot this for the past twelve hours and while I have been able to duplicate the issue I have not found the problem.

Things I have done:

I have made sure the power saving on my USB Buses (all of them) have been turned off

I have ensured the webcam and microphone are not sharing bandwidth and are plugged into separate 3.0 controllers with nothing else attached on the same controller.

I have ensured all drivers are up to date.

I have tried to record in the more stable window capture while using layers and Aero (this crashed me to blue screen by the way, though I don't think it to be what is causing my audio problem).

To conclude: I love OBS it is the best software I have found to do exactly what I need it to do. I really hate the in-game overlays that most programs are using. OBS saves me the headache of editing my camera footage and game-play footage together. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS.
