Okay here is the issue I am having. I am using Adobe Audition adaptive noise reduction to filter out background static in my microphone audio and outputing the audio over a line in Virtual Audio cable. While monitoring the line the audio come in clear with no issue and when previewing in OBS the microphone clearly reports output when speaking. The problem is, however, that when recording or streaming the microphone audio is not present even when the program shows the clear output. It's baffling.
