Question / Help Micro Stuttering while trying to record "osu!" videos?

Hello, I've been trying to record "!osu" videos for my youtube channel and I noticed on that if I turn on the Storyboard it micro stutters a lot. I know if the Storyboard is a little too crazy it can cause some lag, but I'm also wondering if some of my settings are not completely optimized.

PC Specs:
i5 4670K
GTX 970 MSI

Obs Settings:
Encoder: x264
Quality Balance: 10
Max Bitrate: 1000
Buffer Size: 0

ADVANCED
x264 Preset: veryfast
Encoding Profile: high
Custom x264 Encoder Settings: crf=18

You might want to set your resolution downscale to something like 1.5, recording 1080p@60fps will still affect performance even with a cpu-light game like osu.

But would it look just as clear? I feel like even when there is no micro stuttering and I record at a non downscaled resolution, my osu video still looks a bit hazy in fullscreen (youtube) compared to other videos.

It depends on the downsampling method; even with a quick one it shouldn't look TOO bad, but if you're really concerned I think even a slightly smaller downscale (ex. 1.75) should also fix the issue in most beatmaps and look pretty crisp with a quick method.
