Question / Help Mic Question

I'm just trying to figure out good microphone settings for my stream. Was curious if you guys leave your microphone levels turned up in your recording devices properties, and kinda configure it from OBS. Working to try to get my mic to sound good.

I personally even route my microphone sound through another software before I output it into to OBS to filter out background noise etc. But for general volume changes you can leave it on a high/full volume in windows and use the OBS volume slider for the Microphone of course :)

Yeah I'm trying to learn more about audio quality and of course microphone quality. I have no idea what to do to make it sound the best. I use a Blue Yeti. Plan on upgrading if I actually start making money or something. But yeah I currently don't know much about it.
