Question / Help Mic Not Working?

I'm using a turtle beach p12 mic, and it doesn't get picked up by OBS at all. I'm using Windows 10 and have my mic selected as the turtle beach one and it's unmuted, but no sound is being outputted. Also, the audio meter moves when I talk, but no sounds are actually in my videos.
Anyone know why?

What media player are you using to check your recordings?

Default Windows 10 one, Film and TV, and also checked Movie Maker too. Both output no audio

Neither of which have a good history when it comes to media format support. Film and TV is a re-branded windows media player which has a 15 year history of horrid media format support.
Windows movie maker relies on the same components for media format support, so it's junk too.

Try with VLC.
