Question / Help Mic not working for OBS, plz help!!

Ok so what is happening is when I launch it, and I want to record a video, my speaker volume scale will work, but my microphone one will not budge.

please help! I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it isnt working

I dont know what you mean. there is a microphone multiplier that can increase the volume. there is also the mic volume on the main page of OBS.
