Recently had a problem with my microphone is OBS. Whenever i turn my mic on it loops ~8 secs. The sound seems to become increasing louder in the stream and eventually becomes an unbearable screech. No im not watching my own stream and the webcam audio is not enabled. When the microphone is muted on obs the audio works fine (my spotify plays correctly) without the mic. The headset im using is a logitech g430 with windows 8 (x64). Any help or tips would be highly appreciated.

Make sure all your cables for your mic are plugged in all the way. If you have any cable splitters, double check them to make sure they are doing what you want them too

Don't watch your stream from the system you're streaming from. Including the dashboard, if you use it. Or at least mute the player. The audio from the player is being picked up by OBS and put out on the cast, and gradually layering more and more loops.
