Question / Help Mic lagging in OBS but not in other programs

So, I was streaming, and everything was all good for about 30 min-1 hour, until my mic apparently started to lag. It worked perfectly fine on Skype and when I went to control panel>sound and tested it there. I couldn't find any answers online. My mic is an AudioTechnica AT2020 USB and my specs are:

Intel core i7 4770k processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 graphics card
8GB RAM
