Are you watching your own stream on the same computer? Make sure you mute the stream if so. Please post a log too if its just a configuration error. Read how to post a log here -> viewtopic.php?f=5&t=97

You can also see if the following might help you:
1. Make sure you have "Use Input device for desktop audio" is unchecked in Settings -> Advanced (if you can't find such a checkbox there, you should update OBS)
2. If you use a webcam in your scene, right click it and select properties, there make sure that you selected "Disable" in the "Audio Input Device" drop down box.
3. Make sure that the echo you hear is not caused by your browser playing the audio of your own stream.
