I don't use OBS to stream, I use it to record my youtube videos. I am having an issue where my microphone is cutting out. For example, I will be recording and my voice will be being picked up just fine; i can see the indicator moving as i speak. wait anywhere from 10 or 30 seconds to somewhere around 10 minutes in and suddenly, out of nowhere, the mic goes dead and refuses to pick up anything. It is really inconsistent in terms of timing and doesn't always happens, but when it does, it really does (i have to pause, stop recording and start recording so the mic starts working again; it takes nothing but restarting the recording for it to work again).
As you can imagine, this is a really, really big issue if i am recording an episode and halfway in the sound cuts out. I attached a log where it most recently cut out. Unfortunately, the log is a bit long because it started happening as i was recording later. Upon trying to reproduce the issue with a shorter logfile, I was unable to do so.
I am really stumped by what is the cause and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
