hey,
I've been having an issue using a mixer connected via firewire where the audio cuts out. it will randomly happen every 30 seconds to a minute. I've done some google searches and even attempted to search for similar issues on the forums here.
here's what i've done:
-tested to ensure windows properly detects the mixer and audio does not cut out when using audacity or soundrecorder
-updated the drivers for the on board firewire port
-installed the most recent drivers for my mixer
-purchased a pci firewire card in the event the onboard was faulty
-tried using multiple firewire cables
-tested a usb mic and ensured that worked.
in OBS:
-tried enabling and disabling the noise gate feature
-adjusting the noise thresholds
-adjusted the scene buffer time starting it at 100ms and increasing it by 100 each time until i've reached 4000
-tried enabling mic qpc timestamps when doing this as well
all changes were applied, followed by exiting OBS and reloading it to ensure the changes took affect.
lastly, i asked for help in the OBS chat, waited about 1.5hrs and reasked my question. there wasn't anyone that offered help.
here's my log file:

i am going to be hosting and streaming a video game tournament this weekend and really need the mixer so we can have multiple people speaking as clearly as possible and at the same time. any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: i use the elgato HD60 for capturing my games. when i do not use it (so my game console is off) and i record or stream i do not have this issue at all.
