Here is a quick example: http://www.twitch.tv/dtox_tv/v/38246251

It's been a somewhat constant but random problem, occurring occasionally during stream and sometimes not returning to normal unless i restart OBS and/or fiddle with audio settings while live.

Setup: Auna USB condenser microphone, running through Adobe Audition live 'mixer', Virtual Audio Cable and into OBS.
Audio: -120ms off-set and -120ms latency in Adobe Audition.
Bitrate 128. Stereo. Format 48Khz.

I've attached the last log file and the closest log file to the issue in question (i think - its hard to tell!). Hope this is useful. Please let me know if you require any more information.

Thank you for your continued support OBS team!

The real question is, why are you using Audition and VAC? I know another streamer that this happens to and he uses VAC and audition and when he alt-tabs, audio distorts.

If you are using this to filter your mic, try this instead and get rid of those other programs.

Hi dping, that person was me! And i fixed the issue by removing the min/max effect in Windows.

VAC is the 'device', you can't select Adobe Audition as a device unfortunately so it needs to run through this. Adobe Audition sounds a lot better and has much more options in terms of audio management in comparison to that plugin. I have tried it and wasn't impressed. EDIT: I may give it another try, but not if this issue can be resolved other ways. I wonder if its a CPU issue, or latency/off-set issue?

Thanks!

It wasn't you even though you two have an extremely similar setup and settings are aren't who I was thinking of.

1. his name is @ball2hi
2. he doesn't use webcam
3. he uses 44100Hz audio format.
4. he uses multiplatform

scarey I know that just by looking but I often look at his logs for him

either way, you should try your hand at enabling aero and use a windows enabled aero theme even though that will not fix your issue, this is recommended for almost all capture methods.
