Question / Help Messed up stream

Hi guys.

Just added a 2nd monitor to make streaming a little bit easier to control but now i'm having major issues and my stream is all messed up.

I have a 7970, i've had to use a HDMI to DVI connector to plug in my main screen and a DVI to VGA to plug in my 2nd screen. I don't know what causing this artifacting but I assume it could be HDCP or me using the HDMI to DVI adaptor for my main screen? My stream currently looks like this:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sometimes this is caused by the shader cache needing to be refreshed, a sort of known issue that can happen on occasion - try this: exit OBS, delete the %appdata%\obs\shaderCache directory, then try again.

Hi Jim.

Thank you, deleting the shader cache seems to have worked! :D

Many thanks on making OBS. I've been using it since it pretty much launched and you and volunteers have put in amazing work.

Just have one last quick question. In the Microphone Noise Gate section of OBS, would there be any way to implement a more user friendly preview? I'm basically talking about something that Mumble uses which looks like this:

mumble5.jpg

Makes adjusting to the right volume much, much easier.

Thanks.
